Ten Commandments to learn and appreciate Binisaya

1. Pagbinisaya gayud kanunay, labi na sa mga higala, banay, ug mga kasinati. Pagsa-ad sa imohang kaugalingon nga Binisay-an nimo kadtong mga hibal-an nimo nga makasabot kanimo.

Speak Binisaya all the time, especially with friends, family, and acquaintances. Promise to yourself that you will speak Binisaya to those you know would understand you.

Respect other languages but also demand respect for yours.

Refrain from correcting those who do not wish to be corrected, but give them an example to ask persons or authorized entities which incorrect expressions are needed to be substituted. Let's help each other maintain a Binisaya that's alive and beautiful.

Pakigsulti-sulti sa mga taga Cebu City ug Ormoc, Carcar ug Dalaguete, Barili ug Moalboal, Bohol, Baybay, Southern Leyte, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Dumaguete, ug uban pa. Ug tun-i ang ilang mga linitukan ug ang lahi nga mga pulong sa matag dapit nga Bisaya. Mao kini ang kaadunahan sa Binisaya.

Respect the regional differences of Binkisaya. Speak with those from Cebu City and Ormoc, Carcar and Dalaguete, Barili and Moalboal, Bohol, Baybay, Southern Leyte, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Dumaguete, etc. And get to know their accents and different words that we all have. This is the richness of Binisaya.

8. Pagsuskribir sa mga mantalaan ug magasin nga Binisaya. Ug hinaot nga ang imong mga ginabasa, ang mga sine ug programa sa television nga imong tanawon ug sa radyo nga imong paminawon, Binisaya.

Become a subscriber of Binisaya newspapers and magazines. And may the stuff you read, the shows you attend, the radio proagrams you listen to, the TV that you watch, etc. be all in Binisaya.

9. Pagtapat nga Binisayon nimo ang mga sulat ug kudlit-timaan.

Make the decision to write all letters and notes in Binisaya.

10. PagBinisaya sa mga saulog ug katiguman nga ligdong.

Use Binisaya at social gatherings and formal meetings.a
